“It marks a crucial moment in contemporary history,” says the curator of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. “The most remarkable project of the year,” says WIRED. With more than 5 billion impressions around the world due to the collaboration of multiple talents, this is The Refugee Nation.

SquarePixel Films was responsible for the film production of the project. We are really proud of being able to participate and collaborate in such a vital part of the campaign, by not only helping to spread the idea of ​​the refugee nation but also contributing to create a new and essential group identity for those in need.

The project started at the Rio Olympics in 2016, the first time ever a Refugee Team was about to compete in the Olympics, and from that point on there were many events. From football matches to the interview with the curator of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), we were there, spreading the idea and capturing what became a part of the contemporary history and one of the greatest advertising award winners of all time.
